Captain’s Log – April 9, 2015

The “elephant doors” which go over the loading dock doors are done!  They are really amazing and fully isolate those noisy metal doors.

The work goes on building the bridge. Yesterday and today we have been collecting sources of information who can help us with the bridge.  This includes James Cawley, of Star Trek: New Voyages, who have the best bridge recreation in the US.  Charles Root, who did all the bridge monitor graphics for the New Voyages bridge in flash so they are actual computer images not just static transparencies. And Will Smith, a bridge historian of sorts, who has done amazing work on referencing and cataloging the bridge. More details to come.

Rob Burnett and I had a call trying to finalize the Prelude to Axanar Blu Ray.  I can’t tell you how excited we are to get this done!  And it will be AMAZING.  Unlike anything else short of a full blown Hollywood studio release.  And that is because everyone working on this disc worked on Star Trek Blu Rays!  Diana is pricing out where we get these printed and we hope to put these to bed next week and get them printed!

So stay tuned.

    All great news !!!
Still, the greatest news is that Blu Ray printing is now REALLY just around the corner (sorry … Not to diminish the rest of the news 🙂 ).
I’m sure it will be STELLAR !!!
