A big day for production as we gear up for our first day of shooting. First was an 11:00 meeting with our two cast members at Western Costume. Western Costume is the 100+ year old costume house that is the biggest in the world. You have to see this place! Axanar Costumer Kurt Cox runs the uniform division. I had half of the costumes we were using, and we had to finish off the other half with items from Western Costume stock.
Both actors got fitted and we were VERY happy with what we found. Then it was off to lunch and then our female actress joined us for a meeting at Cinema Make Up School with our Make Up Department head, Mike Spatola.
After that, Robert Burnett and I did a new podcast where we talked all about the upcoming shoot, and that should be ready this week.
Why all the Secrecy? Because we release this scene on July 8th as part of our new Kickstarter!
And then there is the bridge….
The overhead lighting and ceiling components are going up.
