Everyone knows by now that Bryan Fuller, Star Trek writer extraordinaire, was named the showrunner for the new Star Trek series. But do you know that Bryan is a big Axanar fan? Star Trek geekdom is a small world.
Axanar has legions of fans, including superstar Sci Fi writers David Gerrold, David Brin and Andy Weir (The Martian). And of course, Bryan Fuller.
So whenever some hater tries to belittle Prelude to Axanar by calling it “Just talking heads”, I laugh at their jealousy, and shake my head.
Meanwhile, Brendon Goodyear did these amazing USS Ares mash ups with real NASA imagery. There is a new one this week that is spectacular. For now, enjoy these.

Well sure, it is talking heads. Just like thousands of documentaries out there are. The important part is what they’re talking about, how they say it, and how it’s all cut together. ^_^
