Inverse Entertainment has a great blog about how the now famous Star Trek: The Next Generation XXX Porn Parody, is one of the best fan films ever when you take out the porn!

Now many porn films have multiple versions for X or R versions, I mean, so I am told, I really wouldn’t know! 🙂 So it is no surprise that the Star Trek porn parody has a PG-13 rated version without the porn! And what is cool, is my good friend and Patrick Stuart look-alike Giles Aston, plays Picard! Now Giles didn’t do any of the porn work in the movie, so this is actually the version that serves him best! Giles also played Picard in an episode of the fan film Star Trek Intrepid. And of course, he really looks like Patrick, though quite a bit taller.

Of course a porn parody is protected by Fair Use and so the film makers cannot be sued. So I wonder what happens when you strip out the porn?

Thanks Alec, it’s great to see that Sam’s movie (fan film) still stands up to scrutiny… even after a number of years… either with or without the ‘naughty’ bits. Plus you’ve also been involved with your own ‘fan film’ production. My deciding factor to get involved with Sam was that he was a true Trek fan but also that he’d written a ‘missing episode’ along the lines of one of my fave TNG episodes… The Naked Now. Keep it up! 😉
